When the body’s weight is suspended from the lower body, the pull of gravity can help decompress the joints of the body below the anchor. This helps to relieve tension and pressure.
Inversion therapy can be particularly beneficial for the spine in that it relieves pressure on the discs and nerve roots;, this in turn allows discs to recover lost moisture and to reutn to their original shape, decreasing the pressure they can exert on nerves.
This fantastic inversion bench is designed to be both comfortable and practical. It can be folded up when not in use. It also has comfortable foam rollers to support the ankles.
The bench has 3 levels of inversion and adjusts for different heights – accordingly it can be used by people varying in height from 147cm – 196cm and up to 136kg in weight.
Some assembly is required, and as with all exercise programmes, consult a GP before starting.
